Maureen and Val met in 1958 when the both worked as secretaries for a property compNy in Birmingham.  She recalls Val meeting Ron and shortly after when she gad met her future husband Roy how “the lads” used to pick them up from work to go dancing.  Maureen and Val remained friends from then on vuditing each othet once Ron and Val had moved to Somerset.  She was a great support to Val when Ron died.  Unfortunately fue to ill health she cannot attend the funeral.
